Terms & Conditions

These Conditions of Sale apply to all goods supplied by Rivergum Business Group (ABN 21 121 312 221) trading as Rim Fabrics. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

 

Rim Fabrics sells to the trade – interior designers, architects, upholsterers, furniture manufacturers and commercial fit-out contractors. Approved account customers are invoiced on Nett 30 days from the date of invoice. New customers, and customers without an approved account, are supplied on a pro-forma basis with payment before dispatch.

 

All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and exclude GST unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice; the price applicable is the price current at the date of dispatch. Freight is additional – contact us for a quote. Fabric is sold by the metre with a minimum cut of 1 metre.

 

Title to goods remains with Rim Fabrics until payment has been received in full. Risk in the goods passes to the customer on delivery to the customer or to the customer’s nominated carrier.

Sample cuttings and hanger sets are supplied to assist specification. Colours shown on screen or in print are indicative only – please confirm against a physical sample before specifying or ordering. Textiles are subject to shade variation between dye lots; order sufficient quantity from a single batch where colour matching is critical.

 

Rim Studio custom prints are produced to the customer’s approved artwork. Artwork must be supplied in digital format with proof of ownership or licence to reproduce it. Printed width is 188 cm and the minimum order is 1 metre. A set-up fee may apply and strike-offs are available for approval before production. Custom prints are made to order and are not returnable unless faulty.

 

Fabric specifications, including flammability and abrasion results, are provided in good faith from test reports supplied by our mills. Suitability for a particular application remains the responsibility of the specifier.

Please inspect goods on arrival. Claims for damage, shortage or faults must be made within 14 days of delivery, and no claims are accepted on fabric that has been cut or processed. Goods may only be returned with a Goods Return Authorisation (GRA) issued by Rim Fabrics – see our Returns & Claims policy for full details.

 

Where a claim is accepted, Rim Fabrics’ liability is limited to replacement of the goods or a credit for their invoiced value. Rim Fabrics is not liable for making-up or installation costs, consequential loss or delay. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

 

Designs, images and content on this website and on Rim Fabrics products remain the property of Rim Fabrics or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
